Strengthens self-confidence to deal more confidently with conflicts, problems, setbacks, etc. in the present and future. Supports efficient problem-solving and thus promotes respectful communication in dealing with others.

Who We are
Our Vision
In August 2020, Katja Zink founded the internationally established association "Coaches for Africa e.V." with the aim of guiding young African adults towards a positive future.
From 2015 to 2020, Katja lived and worked with her husband in East and West Africa. She was passionate about supporting young adults there, knowing how unstable their lives were on a daily basis and the obstacles they faced. It was important to her to provide sustainable and individualized support to young adults between the ages of 18 and 24 through "help for self-help". Increasing their self-confidence to build a self-determined life held a high priority for her.
Our vision is to help shape a society in which young adults live and work in a safe environment and can be successful. By believing in themselves, recognizing their potential and being able to develop it, they can confidently look towards a positive future. The vicious cycle of living in fear and helplessness can be broken by bringing their self-awareness and achievements into their communities, families or social circles for positive, fair and social change. We put 'help for self-help' into practice to show the population that with resources and skills, it is possible to improve the living situation in their home country.
